Testreports

The following reports contain an evaluation of tests involving 3D scan devices supplied by some major manufacturers. We have described the main features, advantages and disadvantages of these devices, especially with regard to the specific goals of our project. Although the technical specifications of these 3D scanners are mostly publicly advertized by their manufacturers, in a few cases these promises do not hold, or important practical  shortcomings are not published. To judge if a specific scanner really meets the practical requirements of a project, it has to be tested and used in practice.
